Lidia Salinas
Conservationist

With experience working both in the field of sea turtle conservation and on the island of Roatan, Lidia Salinas is a natural fit with ProTECTOR’s TAPS program, especially when it comes to linking with local communities. Lidia has expertise in and a passion for environmental education and will be using those skills as we work with communities around the Bay Islands. Lidia has recently completed her BSc in Biology, although she previously took time out from her studies to hold an administrative position working with the marine park organization on Roatan.

Besides her interest in sea turtle research and environmental education, Lidia is an important in-country link with many government personnel. She is well know among many of the government Ministries and is well able to represent the TAPS program when making presentations about ProTECTOR throughout the region.
